Trump to Attend Yankees Game on 9/11 Anniversary
Sources confirm that President Donald Trump will be attending a New York Yankees game at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on September 11th, marking the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This will be his first MLB game of his second presidency.

Trump's attendance comes as part of a series of other major sporting event appearances. While he's attended many sporting events throughout his career, this will be a notable return to the baseball field for this current presidency.
This visit also coincides with other 9/11 commemoration events. Vice President JD Vance is expected to represent the administration at a ceremony at Ground Zero, while Trump plans to attend a separate memorial at the Pentagon.
Trump's history with baseball includes a previously planned (but ultimately cancelled) first pitch at a Yankees game in 2020, as well as attendance at previous World Series games and other high-profile baseball matches earlier in his career. He will also attend the Ryder Cup in New York on September 26th.
Other Sporting Events
Trump has a busy sports schedule this year, also including the FIFA Club World Cup in July at MetLife Stadium and planned UFC matches on the White House Lawn in 2026.
