NYC Fall Foliage: Peak Season is Here!

The Adirondacks and Catskills are showing the most dramatic changes, but stunning displays are popping up throughout the region.
Fall Foliage Report: Key Locations
Here's a snapshot of the foliage conditions in several key areas:
Lower Hudson Valley:
- Westchester County (White Plains): 10% color change, muted shades.
- Rockland County (Orangeburg): Less than 5% change, yellow and orange leaves.
- Putnam County (Cold Spring): No significant change.
Greater Hudson Valley:
- Ulster County (Kingston): 30% change, bright yellow, red, and orange.
- Columbia County (Hudson): 25% change, mostly yellow; Valatie shows 15% change, mostly orange.
- Dutchess County (Poughkeepsie): Less than 10% change, yellow and brown; Beacon shows 5% change, small patches of yellow.
- Orange County (Washingtonville): Less than 5% change, bright red and yellow leaves.
Long Island:
- Nassau County (Wantagh): 10-15% change at Mill Pond Park, red and orange leaves; West Hempstead (Hempstead Lake State Park) shows 10% change, crimson and brown.
New York City:
- Manhattan (Lower East Side): Just over 5% color change; Central Park shows little change.
Catskills:
- Delaware County (Delhi): Up to 55% color change, gold and orange; Colchester shows up to 50%, yellow, orange, and red; Bloomville and Stamford show 25%, muted brown and orange.
- Greene County (Mountain Top, Hunter, Tannersville, Windham, Lexington): 40% change in upper elevations, bright red and orange; Tannersville Lake Park shows 25% change, bright reds and oranges.
- Sullivan County (Liberty): 35% change, bright red, purple, yellow, and orange; Forestburgh shows 15% change, bright red, yellow, and orange.
