Liam has held the top spot for boys since 2016, while Emma has been the leading girls' name since 2017. Interestingly, Sofia returned to the list after a year's absence, and Chloe reappeared after a three-year break.

The data reveals a total of nearly 100,000 babies born in NYC in 2023, with Manhattan reporting the highest number of births (39,484), followed by Brooklyn (22,297).
