NYC Pride 2025: Celebrating LGBTQ+ History and Community
The NYC Pride March 2025 took place in Manhattan, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and the history of the gay rights movement. Over a million people participated in what is considered the largest Pride event in North America.
Pride March Route and Schedule
The 1.8-mile route started at 26th Street and Fifth Avenue, continuing down Fifth Avenue to Eighth Street, then west on Eighth Street to Greenwich Avenue, north on Greenwich Avenue to Christopher Street, west on Christopher Street to Seventh Avenue, and finally north to 15th Street. The march began at noon on Sunday, June 29th.

- Theme: This year's theme honored the 1969 Stonewall Riots.
- Street Closures: Numerous streets were closed starting at 10 a.m. Public transportation was highly recommended.
- Security: Stepped-up security measures were in place throughout the city.
PrideFest
PrideFest, the annual street fair, ran from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. along Fourth Avenue from 14th Street to Eighth Street/Astor Place, featuring food vendors and entertainment.
