About this event

Actors Wallace Shawn, Jessica Hecht and Arian Moayed, comedian Hari Kondabolu, poet Staceyann Chin and musician Ali Dineen read and perform at Lincoln Center's David Rubenstein Atrium on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. The free night of readings and music draws on the work of Brooklyn-born historian Howard Zinn, author of A People's History of the United States, and is inspired by Dave Zirin's new biography, The People's Historian: The Outsized Life of Howard Zinn. Zirin and Haley Pessin narrate, and more guests are to be announced. The program runs about 90 minutes and is open to all ages. Admission is first come, first served, and a free Fast Track line opens the Monday before the show at noon.
