About this event

The Louis Armstrong House Museum in Corona holds its fall Youth Trumpet Parade on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m., a community celebration of Armstrong's influence on the trumpet and the generations of musicians he inspired. The event is based at Jerry's Place, the museum's Louis Armstrong Center on 107th Street. Tickets are free through the museum's reservation page. Later that afternoon, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., the museum hosts part three of its Hot Five Centennial Celebration with research collections director Ricky Riccardi. The museum's new exhibition, Armstrong in Ghana, is also on view.
