About this event

Wave Hill, the public garden overlooking the Hudson River in Riverdale, spends Thanksgiving weekend on gratitude. On Saturday, Nov. 28, and Sunday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., visitors can join a garden walk, try outdoor yoga, learn a meditative craft or honor trees at the Family Art Project. Activities are free with admission unless noted: $10 for adults, $6 for students and seniors 65 and up, and $4 for children 6 and older. A community food drive collects non-perishable items for the Riverdale Neighborhood House through Dec. 18. On Sunday, The Shop at Wave Hill joins Museum Store Sunday with nature-inspired gifts. The front gate is at 4900 Independence Avenue.
