The Northern Lights Danced Over NYC! ✨
On Thursday evening, the Northern Lights were visible from all around the New York City area, thanks to a coronal mass ejection (CME) eruption from the sun that arrived on Earth earlier that day.
While not as bright as in places further north, the astronomical phenomenon was seen in Queens, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Suffolk County on Long Island. The sky conditions were perfect for witnessing this breathtaking event.
