Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Return to NYC's East River!
Get ready, NYC! Mayor Eric Adams announced the return of the spectacular Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show to its classic East River location for 2025. This year's show will celebrate not only Independence Day but also the 400th anniversary of New York City's founding.
The show will light up the East River skyline on July 4th, 2025, offering breathtaking views from the Brooklyn Bridge and surrounding areas. This marks a return to the East River after last year's show took place on the Hudson River.
Mayor Adams emphasized the show's importance as an iconic tradition, economic booster, and celebration of NYC's rich history.
"The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show is one of New York City's most iconic traditions," said the mayor. "As we celebrate 400 years since New York City's founding, we're thrilled to welcome the crowds...to experience an unforgettable Independence Day!"
Will Coss, executive director for the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks, added:
"This year's Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show...is set to deliver an unforgettable night for millions nationwide."
More details about the event will be released soon. Stay tuned for updates!
