Deputy Chief Thomas Alps stated that while enforcement isn't ideal, it's necessary for public and traffic safety, and ensuring fairness on the roads. In just one day, authorities issued 88 summonses, including 27 for plate violations, made 7 arrests, and seized 14 vehicles. Offenses ranged from unlicensed drivers to those driving under the influence.
