Nate Berkus' First NYC Residential Development: The Katharine

A Historic Landmark, Reimagined
The Katharine occupies a historic 1910 landmark building, formerly known as Katharine House, a women's residence. BKSK Architects meticulously restored the pre-war facade, while Berkus curated the interiors, drawing inspiration from classic uptown elegance with a modern twist.

Each residence boasts custom millwork, vintage Italian lighting, and bespoke stone flooring. Kitchens feature breakfast nooks, while spacious living and dining areas are perfect for entertaining. Many residences span entire floors, offering four bedrooms and five bathrooms, and some include private terraces.
Berkus' signature neutral color palette, rich textures, and natural materials create a timeless yet inviting atmosphere. He personally oversaw every detail, from furnishings and fixtures to paint colors and window treatments.

Located on a quiet, tree-lined street, The Katharine offers a 24-hour attended lobby, landscaped rooftop terrace, fitness studio, yoga area, and private storage. Sales launch this spring, managed by Compass.
