Pioneer Works opens all three floors and its garden for free on Sunday, Nov. 8, from noon to 6 p.m., for the monthly Second Sundays open house in Red Hook. Expect artists' open studios, exhibitions on view, workshops, live music and food from Pioneer Works Bar. On view are projects including Tuomas A. Laitinen's Siphon and LaJune McMillian's Child/ren of the Bloom, with open studios by artists such as Alex Strada and Hisham Akira Bharoocha. The event is open to all ages; an RSVP is recommended. Reach the building at 159 Pioneer Street via the B61 bus or the NYC Ferry to Atlantic Basin/Red Hook.
