About this event

Japan Society Gallery in Turtle Bay waives admission on Friday, Nov. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. for its Free First Friday evening. The short free window is a chance to see Gen'ichiro Inokuma's NYC Salon, the first New York solo museum show for the Japanese modernist, on view through Jan. 10, 2027. Regular timed tickets are $20 for nonmembers; members and visitors with disabilities plus a care partner always enter free. The gallery sits at 333 East 47th Street between First and Second Avenues, a short walk from the United Nations. Another Free First Friday is set for Dec. 4.
