Yankees Team Up with NYC Schools for Back-to-School Fair at Yankee Stadium

Back-to-School Fair at Yankee Stadium! ⚾️📚

The New York Yankees and New York City Public Schools are teaming up to host the 2024 Back-to-School Resource Fair for families and students in Bronx School District 9. This event will take place on Thursday, August 15th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Yankee Stadium.

This annual initiative aims to provide local families with valuable resources to help their children thrive throughout the school year. Families attending will receive backpacks and school supplies, and over a dozen community organizations will be present to offer information about their services. These include:

• American Red Cross
• Bank of America (Financial Literacy)
• Food Bank for New York City
• Hispanic Federation
• Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club
• Leap NYC
• Lincoln Hospital
• Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
• New Settlement
• New York Public Library
• NYC DYCD (Department of Youth & Community Development)
• NYPD (Blue Chips, Explorers, Youth IDs)
• Optical Academy
• Renaissance Youth Center
• SCAN-Harbor
• YMCA

Media Entrance: Yankee Stadium Lobby (adjacent to Gate 2 Entrance on Jerome Ave. near E. 164th St.)

Parking: Complimentary parking is available for media only at the 164th St. Parking Lot. Advance notice is required for comped parking. The entrance is on the SW corner of E. 164th St. and River Ave.
