Urgent: NYC Migrant Teen Fatally Stabbed, Suspects Still at Large
A 17-year-old migrant, Yeremi Colino, was fatally stabbed in Manhattan last week, prompting an urgent search for three suspects by the NYPD. The incident occurred on Broadway after a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation. Colino was stabbed in the chest, and an 18-year-old companion suffered an arm injury.

Police have released video footage of the individuals and are appealing to the public for information. While no arrests have been made, reports suggest a potential connection to rival migrant gangs.
This is the fourth homicide in the 1st Precinct this year, compared to zero last year.
NYC Migrant Shelter Closures
Separately, NYC Mayor Eric Adams announced the closure of 25 migrant shelters in the coming months, citing a decrease in the number of arriving migrants. This decision follows 22 consecutive weeks of decline in migrant arrivals.
Anyone with information is urged to contact NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS(8477).
