Mysterious Orb Over Manhattan

A recent Fox 5 New York news report captured a strange orb-like object speeding across the sky over the Hudson River and Lower Manhattan. The footage, initially unnoticed, quickly went viral, sparking a wave of speculation and debate.

The Enigma: The object appears as a bright white orb in the distance, shifting to blue as it approaches. Its speed is remarkable, surpassing all other vessels on the Hudson. The object's path seems intentional, moving first left to right, and then arcing back left before disappearing.

Expert Opinions:

• Avi Loeb, a Harvard professor, suggests the orb is likely an optical artifact caused by reflection on the helicopter's glass.
• Tim Gallaudet, a retired US Navy rear admiral, also believes it to be an artifact, not a UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon).

However, other sources speculate that it might be a drone, with the rapid movement attributed to the combined motion of the helicopter and camera, a phenomenon known as the parallax effect. This effect has recently been proposed as an explanation for other previously unexplained UAP videos.

Further Analysis: Photo experts point out that the object's opaque nature differs from lens flares, adding another layer of mystery. Preliminary calculations, based on its apparent movement, suggest an incredible speed of around 2,700 miles per hour if it indeed traversed the distance observed.

The Aftermath: News anchor Dan Bowens from "Good Day New York" shared the footage on Instagram, sparking further discussion. The exact date of the recording remains unknown, but is believed to be within the last year.

The incident adds to the ongoing discussion surrounding UAPs, following recent congressional hearings that explored reports of unexplained aerial phenomena and potential government cover-ups.
