Swiftie Dream Job: Brooklyn Fan Leads $36 Tour of Taylor Swift's NYC
Calling all Taylor Swift fans! A new tour launching next month in Manhattan will take you to some of the singer's favorite NYC haunts. The two-hour jaunt, priced at $36, will be led by Brooklyn Swiftie Arielle Calderon, who won a hotly-contested competition to be named the Ultimate Swiftie Tour Guide.
Calderon, a content creator who met Swift during her Reputation tour in 2018, is a true fan. She even recalled seeing Swift perform at a chili cookoff in Florida back in 2008, before she was a household name.
The tour will include stops at iconic locations like:
- Cornelia Street: Swift's former Greenwich Village apartment.
- Banzarbar: The Lower East Side cocktail bar where she celebrated her birthday.
- Electric Lady Studios: Where Swift recorded “The Black Dog” for her new album.
- Housing Works Bookstore: Where she filmed a scene for “All Too Well: The Short Film”.
- The High Line: Mentioned in her song “Cardigan”.
The tour is run through a partnership with GetYourGuide, an online travel experience marketplace, and On Location Tours. They received a huge response to the job posting, with hundreds of fans applying.
Calderon is excited to share her knowledge of Swift's NYC with fans, but she emphasizes that she respects Swift's privacy and won't be including her current home on the tour.
Tour reservations can be made online when the link is ready.
