Russian Stowaway's Wild JFK Escape: Photos and Updates

The first images of Svetlana Dali, the 57-year-old Russian woman who managed to sneak onto a Delta Airlines flight from JFK to Paris, have been released. She's now set to return to New York City on Wednesday, escorted by French security officials.

Dali was apprehended on the flight after hiding in the bathroom. She was initially stopped from returning to the US due to a disruptive outburst on a previous repatriation flight.

This incident has raised serious questions about security at JFK airport, with law enforcement sources stating there were multiple security failures. Dali, who holds legal US residency but a Russian passport, is expected to face charges including theft of service.

Delta Airlines has yet to comment on the situation.

The investigation into how Dali bypassed security is ongoing.
