Rudy Giuliani Ordered to Surrender NYC Apartment & Luxury Watches to Georgia Election Workers

The former New York City Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, has been ordered to turn over a number of prized possessions to two Georgia election workers, Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss, after failing to meet the deadline to do so.

This comes after Freeman and Moss won a $148 million defamation judgment against Giuliani for his false accusations of election fraud.

Among the items Giuliani was ordered to surrender are his $5 million Upper East Side apartment, a 1980 Mercedes once owned by Lauren Bacall, and a variety of other belongings, including his television, a shirt signed by Joe DiMaggio, and 26 luxury watches.

The court ordered a moving company representative and lawyers to be allowed access to Giuliani's apartment to assess the property and determine the cost of moving the items.

Giuliani has maintained his innocence and has stated that he intends to appeal the judgment. He has also launched a legal defense fund, asking for donations to help him fight what he calls “Deep State plans to utterly ruin me.”

The $148 million judgment is currently being appealed, and the court has scheduled a status conference on November 7th to ensure that the assets are turned over.

Giuliani's False Accusations Led to Death Threats

Giuliani falsely accused Freeman and Moss of ballot fraud, pushing Donald Trump's unfounded claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. These accusations led to death threats that made the election workers fear for their lives.

The jury in Washington awarded Freeman and Moss $148 million in damages for defamation.

The case highlights the dangers of spreading misinformation and the importance of holding those who spread it accountable.
