Thousands flocked to Rockefeller Center on Wednesday night for the annual tree lighting ceremony. Despite a nearby shooting earlier that day, the event went on as planned, featuring performances by Kelly Clarkson and the Backstreet Boys.
When & Where to See the Tree
The magnificent 74-foot Norway Spruce, hailing from Massachusetts, will be illuminated from 5 a.m. to midnight until mid-January. It boasts over 50,000 lights and a stunning 900-pound Swarovski star.

About This Year's Tree
