Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting 2024: A Magical Holiday Spectacle
The 92nd annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting is set to illuminate Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday, December 4th, bringing holiday cheer to New York City and beyond.
This Year's Majestic Tree
This year's 74-foot-tall, 11-ton Norway Spruce hails from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts – the first time a tree from this state has graced Rockefeller Center since 1959! Adorned with over 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and topped with a dazzling Swarovski star featuring 3 million crystals, it's a sight to behold.

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of performances! Kelly Clarkson returns as host and performer, joined by an all-star lineup including:

Road Closures

The Tree's Legacy
After the holidays, the tree's journey continues! The lumber will be donated to Habitat for Humanity to build homes, ensuring its lasting impact on the community.
Daily Lighting Schedule
The tree will be lit daily from 5 a.m. to midnight. Enjoy 24-hour illumination on Christmas Eve, and from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
The tree will remain on display until mid-January 2025.
