RHONY Season 2: The Housewives Are Back & Drama is Brewing

The Real Housewives of New York City are back for a second season, and it seems like the ladies are ready to pick up where they left off: with drama, of course!

This season kicks off with Brynn showcasing her new, chic Gramercy Park apartment, complete with an elevator that opens directly into it.

We also see Jenna Lyons struggling to decide what to get rid of in her shoe collection, but it seems there are other things she’s keeping under wraps, as her girlfriend’s mother makes a surprise appearance.

Meanwhile, Jessel Taank takes a subway ride with her husband, Pavit, but not before boasting about her $900 monthly Uber spending.

The episode introduces two new faces: Racquel, a cool, leather-clad lesbian who rides a motorcycle with her girlfriend, and Rebecca Minkoff, a “friend of” who immediately becomes a target for the other housewives.

Erin Lichy, always a source of amusement, continues to be the most basic of the group, which is both annoying and entertaining.

But the real drama of the episode unfolds when the housewives gather for Brynn’s cocktail party, where Erin is at the center of a heated exchange with Jenna.

It turns out that Brynn has been spreading rumors that Erin called Jenna “poor,” which Erin denies.

This isn’t the only time Brynn stirs the pot, as she also reveals a text from Sai De Silva calling Jessel’s husband “Dory from Finding Nemo.”

While Sai owns up to her past judgment of Jenna and apologizes, Erin refuses to acknowledge her part in the misunderstanding, which leads to a bigger fight.

This season promises to be full of twists and turns, with the housewives already showing their true colors.

Will they be able to resolve their conflicts, or will the drama just keep escalating?

We’ll have to wait and see!
