Prince Harry made a solo appearance at a high-profile dinner in New York City over the weekend, raising eyebrows with his wife, Meghan Markle, absent by his side.

The Duke of Sussex, looking sharp in a black suit, attended the World Health Organization's private dinner focused on "violence against children and its impact on mental health." The event, held in the Big Apple on Sunday night, saw Harry mingling with notable figures like Forest Whitaker and Queen Mathilde of Belgium.

While Harry posed for photos with attendees and chatted with UN Agency workers, the focus of the evening was raising awareness about child abuse. "Violence takes many forms – both physical and psychological – and each leaves a lasting impact on those who experience it," actor Will Poulter, also in attendance, told the crowd. **"It’s our collective responsibility to ensure that these children are protected."

This trip comes shortly after Harry attended Kevin Costner’s annual fundraising event in Santa Barbara, Calif., where he presented an award on stage. Markle reportedly missed that event due to illness. Meanwhile, the couple recently attended Tyler Perry’s birthday party together in Montecito, Calif., suggesting a busy social schedule for the Sussexes.
