Prince Harry, who turned 40 on September 15th, was given a belated birthday gift while in New York City for Travalyst's fifth anniversary event.

Sally Davey, CEO of Travalyst, revealed that the team celebrated Harry's birthday with a mini-celebration and a gift. She stated that Harry was “amazing” and went above and beyond, spending more time than planned meeting with industry leaders and individuals.

Harry founded Travalyst in 2019 with the goal of promoting sustainable travel practices. The initiative has gained support from major travel companies like Booking.com, Expedia Group, and Google.

Davey highlighted Harry's dedication and crucial role in Travalyst's success, stating that he's been instrumental in shaping the initiative's goals.

During the event, Harry spoke about the importance of responsible travel and the potential for tourism to have a positive impact on the environment. He also announced Travalyst's new five-year strategy, focused on standardizing and sharing sustainability data to guide travelers' choices.

Harry's New York trip also included appearances at the United Nations and the CGI 2024 Annual Meeting. He also plans to further the work of the Archewell Foundation, his and Meghan Markle's non-profit organization, while in the city.
