PATH Fare Increase and Hoboken Station Closure

Starting January 12th, PATH train fares have increased. A single ride now costs $3.00, up from $2.75. Check out the updated price list:

Adding to the travel disruptions, the Hoboken PATH station will be closing for renovations from January 30th to February 25th. Free shuttle bus service will be provided to alternative stations, and NJ Transit will increase service on several lines to mitigate the impact. Ferry services will also be expanded.

Hoboken PATH Station Closure Details:

• Closure Dates: January 30th, 11:59 PM to February 25th, 5 AM
• Reason: Track and station renovations.
• Alternatives: Free shuttle buses, increased NJ Transit service, expanded ferry service.

The Port Authority states that this full closure is more efficient than prolonged weekend closures over a year.
