New York City is giving music fans the chance to own a piece of history with limited-edition Cornelia Street signs. The NYC Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is selling 200 authentic signs, 100 in 'Historic District Brown' and 100 in 'Sunset Pink,' for $75 each. These signs are handmade at the NYC DOT Sign Shop, which produces over 70,000 signs a year.

The signs are available online at the CityStore, the official store of the City of New York. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the city's general fund.

This is the latest in a series of monthly sign drops from NYC DOT, which started in June with Christopher Street/Stonewall Place signs to commemorate Pride Month. In July, NYC DOT released Beastie Boys Square street signs for the 35th anniversary of the hip hop group's album, Paul's Boutique. Both drops sold out within hours.

Don't miss out on this chance to own a piece of NYC music history!
