NYC's Dublin Portal Is Moving on From Flatiron District
The NYC to Dublin Portal, a captivating live-stream installation connecting two bustling cities, is set to leave its temporary home in the Flatiron District.

This round-the-clock interactive art piece launched in May and quickly became a social media sensation, attracting attention from Manhattanites and tourists alike.
The portal, created by Lithuanian artist and Portals founder Benediktas Gylys, was initially conceived in 2016 as a way to bridge international divides, a desire intensified by the COVID pandemic.
Gylys has confirmed that the portal will be relocating to a new and more permanent location in NYC, due to the temporary permit in Flatiron expiring.
This comes after the portal was temporarily shut down in the Spring due to inappropriate behavior and technical issues.
Where will the NYC-Dublin portal pop up next? Stay tuned for updates!
