The Mystery Behind the Trump Signs is Solved
For weeks, New Yorkers have been puzzled by the appearance of unauthorized traffic signs featuring Donald Trump's silhouette, appearing across the city. The signs, often dubbed "Trump Crossing," have sparked online debate, with some praising them and others demanding their removal.

The mystery is finally solved, with a photo surfacing on Reddit showing conservative artist Scott LoBaido, known for his provocative and controversial protest art, installing one of the signs in Manhattan. LoBaido, a staunch Trump supporter, has a history of unconventional public displays of support for the former president.
This isn't LoBaido's first foray into controversial art. In May, he released 100 pink, penis-shaped balloons outside the Manhattan courthouse where Trump's hush money trial was taking place. He also gained notoriety for throwing pizza at City Hall in protest of a ban on wood-fired pizza ovens, which led to his arrest. Perhaps his most famous protest came in 1999 when he threw horse manure at the Brooklyn Museum for displaying a controversial elephant-dung-infused portrait of the Virgin Mary.

Despite initially denying involvement, LoBaido eventually admitted to his role in placing the signs across the city, including locations near Robert De Niro's Tribeca Grill, the New York Times building, Battery Park City, and 3rd Avenue.

The signs, which feature a serial number “S4665L,” have become a subject of public debate, and the city's Department of Transportation has pledged to remove them. It remains to be seen if LoBaido will face any legal consequences for his actions.
What Do You Think?
Do you think LoBaido's actions are a harmless form of free expression or a violation of public space? Should he face punishment for putting up the unauthorized signs? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
