NYC's Holiday Nostalgia Train: A Blast from the Past!
This December, experience the magic of NYC with a unique twist β a ride on a vintage NYC subway train! The Holiday Nostalgia Rides program brings back an eight-car R-1/9 train, originally running on the Eighth Avenue Line (now A, C, and E lines), for a limited-time holiday experience.

Journey Through Time
Step aboard and travel back to the 1930s, experiencing the charm of rattan seats, paddle ceiling fans, incandescent light bulbs, and period advertisements. This isn't just a commute; it's a time capsule! This nostalgic ride was even the inspiration behind Billy Strayhorn's iconic "Take the A Train".
