NYC's Deep Freeze Thaws: Warmer Temps on the Way!
New York City experienced brutally cold temperatures earlier this week, with lows in the single digits. But don't worry, a warming trend is finally here!
Temperatures on the Rise
Temperatures are expected to be around 10° warmer today, reaching highs near 30°F. While it will remain chilly tonight, with lows in the teens and single digits, a significant improvement is on the horizon.
Looking Ahead
Temperatures will continue to climb, reaching 33°F tomorrow – the first time above freezing since Sunday. By Sunday, highs will push towards 40°F. While there's no significant active weather expected for the next week or so, the lack of precipitation will worsen the existing drought in the Tri-State Area.
