NYC's Michelin Star Restaurants 2024: A Culinary Celebration
The 2024 Michelin Guide ceremony unveiled New York City's top restaurants, awarding stars and recognizing culinary excellence. Jungsik, a Korean restaurant, made history as the first Korean restaurant in the U.S. to receive three Michelin stars, a significant achievement considering it's NYC's first new three-star establishment in 12 years!

Beyond Jungsik's impressive feat, several other restaurants received accolades:
- Exceptional Cocktails Award: Suwincha “ChaCha” Singsuwan from Bangkok Supper Club
- Sommelier Award: Chase Sinzer and Ellis Srubas-Giammanco of Penny
- Exceptional Service Award: Tina Vaughn of Eulalie
- Young Chef Award: Joseph Rhee of Jean-Georges
- Mentor Chef Award: James Kent (posthumously)
- Michelin Green Star Award: One White Street (for sustainable practices)
