NYC Weather: From Snow to Spring-Like Temps, and Back Again!
New York City experienced a wild weather swing this week, transitioning from a snowy Sunday to surprisingly mild temperatures in the 40s by Monday. But don't pack away your winter gear just yet!
Sunday's Snowfall
Sunday brought a dusting to a couple of inches of snow across the NYC area. Snow accumulation varied across locations:
- Bridgeport, CT: 2.5 inches
- LaGuardia Airport: 1.2 inches
- Newark, NJ and Central Park: 0.5 inches
- JFK Airport and Islip, NY: Trace amounts
Monday's Mild Surprise
Monday's weather was a pleasant contrast to Sunday's snowfall, with highs reaching the mid-40s. However, there were some lingering clouds and a stray shower in the north.

While Tuesday promises brighter, albeit blustery, conditions in the 40s, Wednesday will be colder and drier. However, another system is expected to bring snow, mixed precipitation, and rain by Thursday. Stay tuned for updates!
