NYC Weather: A Week of Wild Swings

Get ready for a wild ride, New York! This week's weather is anything but predictable, with a mix of rain, temperature swings, and a bone-chilling finish.
Rainy Monday and Tuesday
Expect moderate rain throughout Monday night. But don't worry, the showers will clear by Tuesday morning, leaving us with a surprisingly pleasant day. Afternoon temperatures will soar to near 60 degrees—the best weather we'll see all week!

Wednesday's Wet Finale
More rain is on the way Wednesday evening, lasting into the night. However, it will be gone before Thursday morning's commute.
The Big Freeze!
After Wednesday, the rain disappears, but the cold definitely doesn't. The coldest air of the season—and of 2024—will arrive, bringing morning lows in the teens and afternoon highs in the 20s by next Monday. These are actual temperatures, not wind chills!

Unwhite Christmas?
With this arctic blast settling in for Christmas week, the chances of a white Christmas look slim. While we'll have the cold, the forecast is looking "storm-free", making a snowy Christmas unlikely.
