NYC Enjoying a Taste of Fall on Sunday
New York City is experiencing a delightful taste of fall weather on Sunday, with temperatures dipping below normal and a cool, breezy feel. The northwest suburbs saw temperatures drop into the 40s, while Central Park reached a cool 55 degrees, the coolest start to a day since May!
A Sunny and Quiet Day
Expect plenty of sunshine and a gentle breeze throughout the day. Temperatures will top out in the upper 60s and low 70s, more like early October than early September.
Cool Evening, Warm Week Ahead
The evening will also be chilly, with lows in the 40s and 50s under mostly clear skies.
But don't worry, warmer weather is right around the corner! Monday is looking sunny and pleasant with a slight chance of a passing shower north of the city. Temperatures will return to the 80s by the start of the workweek, and the next chance of substantial rain is over a week away.
