NYC vs. Long Island: High School Football All-Star Game Announced!
Get ready for an electrifying showdown on June 21st at Hofstra University! The inaugural National Football Foundation All-Star Classic will pit the best high school football players from New York City against their Long Island rivals.
This exciting new event, funded by the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame's NYC chapter, will seemingly take the place of the long-running Empire Challenge. The Empire Challenge, known for its 24-year run, was unfortunately cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic and hasn't returned since.
Team selections will take place on January 27th (Long Island) and January 28th (NYC), so keep an eye out for announcements!
The game is set to kick off at 1 p.m. on June 21st. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to witness the future stars of football battle it out!
