Former All-Ivy Athlete Among Victims
Bech, a 28-year-old former All-Ivy League football player for Princeton (2016-2018), was among those killed. His former coach, Bob Surace, remembered him as a "ferocious competitor" and a "beloved teammate."
After graduating from Princeton in 2021, Bech worked as a junior bonds trader in cybersecurity at Seaport Global in New York City. His younger brother shared a heartfelt tribute on social media.
