There's a 55% chance of snow as early as the morning of Wednesday, December 4th. However, the forecast is currently indicating mostly dry conditions.
The National Weather Service notes this cold pattern could persist well into December, leaving the possibility of snow should a weather system move in.
The Climate Prediction Center gives December equal chances of warmer or cooler-than-average temperatures. A typical freezing December could even mean a White Christmas in NYC!
