NYC Shocked: Two Brutal Slashings in One Day!
Two terrifying attacks shook New York City on Sunday. In separate incidents just hours apart, two men were slashed by strangers.
Bronx Subway Slashing
A 33-year-old man was slashed on the neck by a woman on a southbound No. 2 train in the Bronx around 9:30 p.m. The attack followed an argument between the victim and his assailant, who pulled out a small silver knife. The woman, believed to be in her 40s, remains at large.
Hell's Kitchen Attack
Earlier that day, around 2:50 p.m., a 78-year-old man was slashed in the cheek in Hell's Kitchen. The attack happened after the suspect deliberately bumped into the victim, sparking an argument. A restaurant manager described seeing the suspect pull a knife from his bag before the attack. The assailant, who was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, and carrying a red Target bag, fled the scene. The victim is in stable condition.
