NYC on High Alert: UN General Assembly & Jewish High Holidays
This week, New York City is bracing for a significant security operation as world leaders convene for the 80th UN General Assembly session. Over 150 heads of state, including President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are expected to attend.
This event coincides with the Jewish High Holidays, further intensifying security measures. The NYPD is deploying extensive resources, including:

- Motorcades, drones, patrol officers, and street closures.
