Multiple drone sightings across New Jersey and now New York City have sparked a full-scale FBI investigation. Residents in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn reported numerous drones on Sunday night, adding to the growing mystery that began in November.

Key locations affected include areas near the Picatinny Arsenal, a U.S. military facility, and even President-elect Donald Trump's Bedminster golf course. The FAA temporarily restricted drone flights in response.

The FBI's Newark Field Office stated they are "doing all we can to figure out what's going on," but information is limited. Brooklyn resident Diane Atkins captured videos of what she described as loud, numerous drones near the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis amplified public concern, questioning the lack of official information and highlighting the heightened anxieties following the Chinese spy balloon incident.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy emphasized the seriousness of the situation, describing the drones as "very sophisticated" and capable of disappearing quickly. He confirmed 49 sightings on Sunday alone.

Authorities urge the public to report any drone sightings and share videos or photos. The investigation is ongoing, with state and federal agencies working together.
