NYC Marathon: Celebs Hit the Pavement & You Won't Believe Who Came in First!

Celebs Take on the NYC Marathon: Who Came Out on Top?
Every year, a gaggle of celebrities lace up their running shoes and hit the pavement for the New York City Marathon, all in the name of charity. And this year was no different!
While the 2024 NYC Marathon saw Sheila Chepkirui of Kenya take the women’s race in 2 hours, 24 minutes and 35 seconds and Abdi Nageeye of the Netherlands win the men’s race in 2 hours, 7 minutes and 39 seconds, we're all about those celebrity finishes!
Casey Neistat, the YouTube kingpin, showed off some serious hustle, clocking in at 2:57:48, an incredible feat considering his doctor told him he’d never run again!

The first Black lead of The Bachelor, Matt James, was another top performer, finishing in 3:29:26. He was running for ABC Food Tours.
Claire Holt, a true original, crossed the finish line in 3:42:43, representing Team Maybelline and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
And Jennifer Connelly proved she's got stamina to spare, finishing strong in 3:45:47.
But it wasn't all about speed. The marathon also saw some memorable performances from familiar faces:
- Peter Weber, the Bachelor alum, showed his dedication, finishing in 3:58:25, a significant improvement from his 2021 time.
- Randall Park, known for his role in Always Be My Maybe, ran for Kulture City, an organization dedicated to children with special needs. He clocked in at 4:16:18.
- Vinny Guadagnino, the Jersey Shore star, kept it moving in 4:19:44.
- Amy Robach edged out her partner T.J. Holmes by a mere second, finishing in 4:41:40 to his 4:41:41.
- Phoebe Robinson, Everything’s Trash star and essayist, took her time, but still finished strong in 6:06:52.
No matter their pace, these celebrities showed that determination, dedication, and a good dose of fun can go a long way – even when it comes to running 26.2 miles!
