The Crimes

  • December 26th: Approximately $2,100 in lottery tickets were stolen from a business on Eighth Avenue in Manhattan. Suspects reportedly brandished a firearm.
  • January 8th: Around $4,800 in lottery tickets were taken from a store on Broadway in Astoria, Queens. Again, a gun was used in this robbery, and the suspects fled into the Broadway subway station.

No injuries were reported in either incident. Police describe the suspects as males with medium complexions. The motive remains unclear.
