NYC Horror: Driver Kills Teen Girl in Intentional Hit-and-Run
A horrific incident in Jackson Heights, Queens has left a community reeling. 38-year-old Edwin Cruz-Gomez is charged with murder after allegedly intentionally striking and killing 16-year-old Jhoanny Gomez-Alvarez with his Chevy Suburban. The incident stemmed from an argument following a catcall, according to reports.

Cruz-Gomez was apprehended shortly after the incident and charged with murder, attempted murder, driving while intoxicated, and fleeing the scene.
