NYC Freezes Over: Sub-Zero Temperatures Hit the City in Coldest Snap in Years!

NYC's Deep Freeze: Record-Breaking Cold Sweeps the City
New York City is experiencing its coldest temperatures in nearly two years, with many areas waking up to single-digit readings and parts of Long Island barely staying in the double digits. Inland areas will experience sub-zero temperatures.

Wind Chill Warning: The National Weather Service has issued Cold Weather Advisories for much of the tri-state area west of NYC, warning of feels-like temperatures as low as -15°F. These dangerously low wind chills can quickly lead to hypothermia and frostbite.

Stay Safe: Dress warmly in multiple layers, covering all exposed skin. Don't forget to bundle up your kids!

Dry Air: The frigid air is also incredibly dry. Keep hydrated even if you don't feel thirsty and use lip balm and moisturizer.
Looking Ahead
While this week will be brutally cold, with high temperatures barely reaching the teens, warmer weather is on the horizon. Temperatures will slowly climb above freezing by the weekend.

Enjoy the snowy scenes while they last—melting begins this weekend!
