New Yorkers faced a nightmare commute Tuesday morning with a combination of rail service disruptions, traffic delays, and an accident in the Lincoln Tunnel.
NJ Transit Train Delays
NJ Transit rail service into New York Penn Station was suspended earlier due to "overhead wire issues in the Hudson River Tunnels." Service has since resumed, but with delays of up to 50 minutes due to congestion.
Lincoln Tunnel Crash
A crash in the Lincoln Tunnel led to delays of at least 45 minutes across the Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, and George Washington Bridge.
Bus Service Delays
An earlier accident also caused 60-minute delays on bus service into and out of the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal.
