NYC Bride-to-Be Devastated as Groom Killed in Wrong-Way Crash Days Before Wedding

Tragedy Strikes NYC Bride-to-Be: Groom Killed in Wrong-Way Crash Days Before Wedding
Shauntea Weaver was preparing to walk down the aisle and say "I do" to the love of her life, Kirk Walker, Jr., this past Sunday. But a horrific car crash just days before the wedding tragically stole her groom away.
Early Saturday morning, a pickup truck was driving the wrong way on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Manhattan. The truck slammed head-on into a Dodge sedan, killing both occupants. The driver, Walker, Jr., and his 40-year-old cousin were instantly killed.
Weaver was left heartbroken, stating, "I feel like I'm watching a fictitious TV show. Doesn't seem real to me."
Authorities say both occupants of the pickup truck fled the scene. One was apprehended, but the driver remains at large.
This heartbreaking incident has left Weaver without a groom and two families without comfort. Weaver expressed her anguish, saying, "I have faith in God. I hope you suffer the way I'm suffering."
Instead of celebrating the couple's wedding, friends and family gathered in Bergenfield, New Jersey, to offer support and condolences. Walker, Jr. leaves behind three children who are now without their father.
