NY Red Bulls to Face LA Galaxy in MLS Cup 2024!
The New York Red Bulls are heading to California to battle the LA Galaxy in the 2024 MLS Cup, presented by Audi! This highly anticipated match will kick off at 4 PM ET on Saturday, December 7th at Dignity Health Sports Park.
Red Bulls' Triumphant Run:
The Red Bulls secured their spot as Eastern Conference Champions after a nail-biting 1-0 victory against Orlando City SC. Andrés Reyes' goal sealed the win and propelled New York into MLS Cup history. This win marks some incredible achievements:
- They are only the second team in MLS history (after the 1998 Chicago Fire FC) to win three road games in a single postseason.
- It's their first-ever Eastern Conference Final win, and only their second Conference Final win since 2008!
- They are the lowest seed to ever reach the MLS Cup!
Coach Sandro Schwarz's Milestone:
Sandro Schwarz also made history, becoming the 12th coach in MLS history to lead their team to the MLS Cup in their first season. This is a remarkable feat, especially considering he's only the fourth Eastern Conference coach to achieve this since 2004.

Their path to the final was nothing short of extraordinary:
- Round One: 2-0 series win vs. Columbus Crew
- Eastern Conference Semifinal: 2-0 win at New York City FC
- Eastern Conference Final: 1-0 win at Orlando City SC
