New York Fashion Week Parties: From Italy-Inspired Soirees to Max Fish Revivals

New York Fashion Week: The Parties Are the Real Show
New York Fashion Week has officially kicked off, and with it comes a flurry of parties across the city. While the runways showcase the latest designs, it's the after-dark events that truly capture the essence of fashion month.
A Love Letter to Italy
One such party, hosted by Graydon Carter of Air Mail and Olivier Bron of Bloomingdale's, transported guests to Italy at the Academy Mansion. The event, inspired by Bloomingdale's fall campaign, featured sculptures crafted from food, opera performances, and a stunning display of roses. Celebrities like Bette Midler, Tiffany Haddish, and Nicky Hilton Rothschild mingled amongst the decadent decor, sipping Aperol spritzes and marveling at chef Laila Gohar's edible art.

Max Fish Relives its Glory Days
Another event took guests on a trip down memory lane, reviving the legendary Lower East Side dive bar Max Fish. Vans hosted a party that saw TV on the Radio perform a rare live set, surrounded by a recreated version of the bar's iconic red awning, grimy toilet, and overflowing bathroom sink.
The event was a nostalgic tribute to a bygone era of New York, attracting artists, bartenders, and fashion enthusiasts who fondly remembered the bar's vibrant history.

Fashion Week Style
From elegant gowns to more casual streetwear, the parties showcased a diverse range of looks. The fashion was as much about personal style as it was about following the latest trends. From the retro vibes of Max Fish to the sophisticated elegance of the Italy-inspired soiree, attendees embraced the spirit of New York Fashion Week with their unique and creative ensembles.
