New York Farmer Blames Biden-Harris for Migrant Influx at Northern Border

New York Farmer Overwhelmed by Migrant Influx at Northern Border
Chris Oliver, a farmer from Fort Covington, New York, is facing a growing crisis as dozens of migrants cross his property every night. Oliver claims he's seeing a surge in illegal immigrants crossing the Canadian border into the United States and blames the Biden-Harris administration for the issue.
"You have no control over it. You don't know who these people are. Not everybody is a good person," Oliver said. He expressed concern over the lack of control and the unknown nature of the individuals crossing his land.
Oliver's trail cameras have captured footage of the migrants crossing his property, highlighting the reality of the situation. He says the number of crossings has drastically increased since the current administration took office.
While much attention focuses on the southern border, the northern border crisis is often overlooked. CBP data reveals a significant increase in northern border crossings since 2022, reaching numbers exceeding 100,000 and inching closer to 200,000 annually. The most dramatic jump occurred between 2021 and 2022, with a significant increase in crossings.
Oliver emphasizes that the crossings did not occur under the Trump administration, adding further fuel to his concerns.
"Four years ago, we had hardly any people coming across. It was a rarity. Now it's every night I have people on my trail cameras. Every night it's another group, and it depends on the size. Usually there's two or three and sometimes there's five or six. It all depends. And, if you're lurking around in the middle of the night, usually you're up to no good," Oliver stated. He expressed his hope for a change under a potential second Trump term, suggesting the previous administration's policies were more effective in controlling border crossings.
