The Blaze
The fire, which began on the fifth floor, quickly spread, engulfing the roof and causing extensive damage. Approximately 140 firefighters battled the intense blaze for hours. First responders faced significant challenges due to the intense heat.

Residents recounted terrifying moments, grabbing essential documents and fleeing as flames engulfed their homes. Many reported significant losses, with one resident stating, "Everything in my apartment was ruined." The Red Cross is assisting 21 adults and 8 children from 10 households with temporary housing. The building housed a total of 33 units.
Injuries and Investigation
At least four residents and three firefighters sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
